U joint rear rumble vibe issue

OK rebuild tips? These were g2 gears. The carrier got nicked from the carnage probably that should be replaced. I've always wanted a selectable locker too.

The carrier is the biggest weak point anyway. So if you went with any selectable locker it would be much stronger instantly.

And I know nothing about g2 gears, but if that happened with minimal abuse, maybe look into a different brand of gears lol.

If your running 8 lug now, then what he said /\/\.
Or if 6 lug still find a sf14b with 6 lug from a newer truck.
You'll be money ahead in the long run, and probably gain rear disc in the process.
10b can be built to be strong. But it's still only a 10b

What do you do with the truck? WHat's your end goal?

I have had good luck with G2 gears. I used to sell a lot of them. Could have been a fluke thing. If you are looking for anything specific let me know and I will see if I can help you out.

Pretty much go everywhere. From 4x4 up to the mts snowboarding, blazer bash, to rocky pt mexico. No towing. I have 6 lugs, 35x12.50r15 ko2 which are basically 33's. G2's have 10 yr warranty (these are 8 yrs), I called them said to send pictures and they would send out a new set. 10b's have been good to me I have probably 300k+ problem free miles. I do like the better clearance and lighter weight of 10b.

Well chunk of metal in diff is not good. Pinon teeth.

You're lucky. Mine blew up on the highway going 70mph with a trailer in tow.
The pieces jammed and released so I slow down and it locked up.
I backed up to release it and pulled over to the shoulder.
Took the cover off and pulled all the pieces off and pulled the driveshaft and drove in front wheel drive to get home.
Next stop was pick n pull for a 14bff
