u joint steering

my friends 77 needs a rag joint and the bell joint at the colunm doesn't look to good. im wondering if there is a write up of the u joint steering shaft. and what shaft do i need. in know the f150 shaft is a almost both in on a s10 but what about the fullsize.
 
in the latest "off road adventures" from 4wpw there was a wite up of borgeson doing a u-joint steering shaft.
said to call 860.482.8283
i haven't checked to see if they have a website but i'm sure they do

i found there web site and the picture shows that is uses a rag joint at the box. i need that part the most and want to upgrade.
 
Backyardbuilt did a write-up on this a while back. He used either a mid-70s or mid-80s Chevy Van shaft. Hopefully he'll see this post. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
 
yep just found it. let me get this straight

old tilt(got it) uses the 89 truck colunm joint and the van box joint

non tile uses both van joints.

I dunno I dont have tilt and she aint working out for me,

then again maby I am missing some thing, I will try to do a write up though if I see the light any time soon /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
