Yes, I have actually started down the road twice and got side tracked with other things. I'll get it done!

So could one make the guess that the B-52's installed in the stock body mount location shouldn't interfere with the bumper mounting?

Looks like you might have to clearence the bottom of the bumper right below the lower bolt infront of the frame horn.

I agree, you'd have to do a little bit of clearancing to get it all in there. But I do think it can be done.

That seems to be one of the biggest drawbacks to the longer springs in the front.

Kert, very interested in this bumper. Fit a '79? I just picked up a 79 K10 w/ lots and lots and I mean lots of goodies. Will share later on but wanting to get a front winch mount to compliment the rear winch mount it has. A hidden style winch mount is what I'm looking for(one that goes in the grille). Also let me know about stinger options.

Mike

PM me with some details on the stinger like height and width and such and if you want some down tubes on it! Thank bud.

well I got a buddy of mine buildin me an exo for the truck and he said he would make a stinger for it so basically I just need to know if you can make a pocket and mount for a winch to hide in the grille. Still want the approach angle this bumper provides.

What winch are you running and I'll get some measurements from the brand website and we'll go from there. Just from looking at it there is plenty of room for a winch to tuck in behind and be completely hidden.

Warn 12K. It doesn't have to be completely hidden. I'll cut out part of the grille if need be.

Cool! I'll know more later, this week.

Has any progress been made with the hidden winch mount? This is what I have been looking for. Keep up the good work. Also, what is a stinger?

Coming along. Not ready yet but shant be long.

Stinger, when speaking bumperese is the tube that sticks forward and upward in the center. Usually about as high as the hood.

Cool, thanks for the info and the update. Keep it up! I can't wait to see some new pics.
