The spindle nut on the bumper should not be tightened as if it were a spindle on a trailer, RPM is not a factor. It should be TIGHT! Doing some experimentation here in the shop and if you do not tighten this tight enough it leads to failure of the spindle. When tightening, you need to remove play from the bearings completely.
