Uh... now what (D60 Caliper Removal)

I got as far as taking the bolt out. Now what do I do? I guess that metal piece underneath the bolt has to slide out in some direction (which direction?) As you can see I just got done grinding for 15's. I was surprised at how little material I had to remove. This caliper is different than what I'm used to

Yep, just knock the piece out in either direction. There will be 2 pieces actually that will come off, the other is a tension spring.

I just did this and I just tapped on the piece with a hammer and screw driver and tapped it in toward the pumkin.
