I agree to "uhh oh" and would concur the air filter is dirty. That is very hard on the intake. I would reccomend sending the unit to me for at least a full year of testing.

Aw you guys wouldn't want that old thing anyway. It's for one of those crappy big blocks. They weigh far too much to be useful. I think the diamond plate will be more beneficial ...and look prettier

I have one but it is for my small block setup. Theory should be the same. let me know if you want a copy of it and I will try and find a scanner and get it electronic. Oh wait, Edelbrock has an electronic installation instruction you can pull it from their website. Has the wiring diagram in a .pdf file.

I'll look at the Edelbrock one. Not sure if the Mercruiser one is different but should be close to the same

we have the Merc service manuals.. big books... i'll see what we have monday... not sure how i'll do it yet cuz my scanner is down.. but i'll check into it.. maybe i can snap pics of the pages...
