Yep same thing happened.
I ended up cutting out about a 6" square around it and re-building it all.

Yep. Caved the door in and pulled that out of the body. On went tube doors with latches from the stock blazer tailgate.
Yea it ain't comin off now. With the amount of metal I applied it shouldn't be an issue again. I'll get a picture of the fix tomorrow as the camera decided it didn't want to save that picture. You can see where it was attempted to be fixed before to no avail.
It was weird though. I opened the door one morning and the damn thing just fell out of the body. Fortunately, it was a weekend so I wasn't late for work or anything.
Yes Grant, it is about that time. If I can somehow manage to obtain a towing vehicle for a daily driver, Wimpy will finally be allowed to be the toy that she was originally intended to be.
Someone needs to win the lottery for us or something.

I could of sent you the whole door opening from the backyard , simply welded the whole everything in . I have that stuff here . Just dont have any floors worth a chit besides the ones I'm using
