Mine must be REALLY RARE since mine is a 1989 V10 Blazer.

Ive seen the v series before but what exactly is it
87 was r-v name change from c-k for the upcoming new body in 88 that stole the c-k from us . 
I have a bunch of V series. I better start listing them.

are all 87's a V instead of K
All 1988-1991 square body are V series.
Actually, all 1987-1991 4x4 "square bodies" are V series. All 1987-1991 2wd "square bodies" are R series.
