A bit embarassed to ask but i need to change the pads on the my truck. 89 crewcab w/d60 disc's. I can tfigure out how to get the calipers off. Dont laugh to much
Very good pics and good explanation, but keep in mind that depending upon the condition of the 60, the clip may not "slide" out. I had to use a BFH and a large chisle to get the clip to move.
ya mine didnt slide out, but i just gave em a tap with a screwdriver and out they came.
Im having one hell of a time getting they spring and clip back in. I dont know why i cant get it to fit. I cant even get it to line up.
ya the clips look good, gave them and the spring and the nothch that retains them a good cleaning. bout to blow to hell if i cant get the spring back in
i can t seem to even get it to lead in at all, dont know what im doing wrong. Taking a lil break as im about to start kicking in the fenders if i continue
Geez changing pads 20 seconds everything else, I tell you when i know.
heat bolt up with tourch till red and then cool off with cold water. this will shock it loose. sometimes need to do this 2-3 times. works great for bleader screws also.
