i agree.. just too goofy for my tastes... way overdone... very few body styles lend themselves to looking good on 44's too.... hard to be original and stylish.. just like some body styles don't look good tubbed...
the only one i've liked that i've seen in the last 10 years was the VW project someone posted here awhile back... had potential... it looked, right... as opposed to that goofy Javelin looking thing MountainExplorer's buddy was doing...
that being said, my other mechanic runs around in a 63 Cheby ambulance i'd love to see sitting on a burb chassis with some 35's...

Grieby54, i dont see ur project as destroying a classic. the fact that its a truck saves it i think. OffroadUnlimited has a yellow lifted 56 or 57 chevy with 454 i believe and 44s, that thing is sweet, looks like it was done right.

Keith, I'm not sure if it's for sale or not. It's just a pic that someone posted on a Chevelle wagon page. It's been posted for quite a while though. Anyway, that's crazy that it was yours! You can check out the page it's listed on here.

Ok so I joined two Chevelle pages on Facebook a number of years ago like 2007 or so. The purpose was trying to find the Wagon.
Today someone posted a picture of a 4x4 Chevelle asking how to the frame
