I don't know if such a thing exists or not, but I need a high hump I can bolt into my truck and cut custom holes out for the NV4500 and custom NP241 shifter. I'd need something that doesn't have any holes cut in it from the factory.

I pulled the one out of my project truck that had an auto you could drill out the holes to bolt it down and then cut for the nv4500. I'll see if i can dig it up if interested

My last parts truck had one but we cut through it with the sawzall before we realized what it was... '83 and older 4x4 with an automatic transmission is what your after. But 82-83 will have an NP208 t'case shifter hole.

Wouldn't the 203 have a shifter sticking through the floor hump too?

I think it'd have to come from a freak 2wd automatic truck...

Your going to need to deal with the shifter hole and weld it up if needed. The 2wd trucks have a different floor on the automatic trucks.

Bump!

The need for a floor hump has come to be a priority now. I went through all the local wrecking yards and wasn't able to find any un-boltable humps at all.

I'd be happy to get one from an automatic 4x4 pickup with either a 205 or 208 under it. I can patch the holes in it now.

I think that is your best bet. I don't believe any of the 2wd automatics came with an unboltable high hump.

I've been practising my sheet metal welding, and I'm starting to get a bit better at it! Still suck at cutting out patches that fit nicely, but I can make it work, haha

Are you going to put bedliner over the top of it? If so, the patch won't need to be perfect. Just put the liner on a little thicker at that point.

My buddy has a center high hump without any holes. It's in a 78 2wd blazer and it bolts in. I can ask him what he wants for it if you still need one.

Sounds like you've found the holy grail! Absolutely interested, and please PM me pics + a price!

BTW, I am going to be coating the hump with box liner and a carpet, so appearances arn't huge that way, just the perfectionist in me wanting the truck to be perfect

PM sent.

What would be a fair price for one in great shape? I know in the 67-72 trucks i've seen them sell for $60. I have never seen one in these year trucks, but i don't mess with 73 and up much.

To be honest, I've never seen a price for one before. If you've got an actual high hump without any holes in it, I'm willing to pay for it!

Just noticed your in CANADA, I'd have to chrg some $$ shipping. What your postal code?

Postal code is T8E 2C8

Could you measure the distance between the front lip and rear lip of your hump from center to center? Don't worry about following the curvature, just wanna make sure that it'll fit before getting anything shipped...
