So i want some sort of lockable under seat storage for my 90 k5. I have searched with no luck. The closest i could find is the link below which came closest for the dimension allowable. I find it hard to belive there isn't something out there so i thought id ask.

Another option is tuffy will make custom orders from CAD designs but requires a minumun order of 5. I would order two myself (one for each seat) but i would need other people dedicated and interested before pursuing this.
 
thanks for the response i checked out that site but the spacing is only 12 3/8th inch. I have emailed tuffy about making custom boxes along with Kert from DIY4X. Tuffy advertises that the y gladly accept custom work but require a minimum of 5 per order so i would need other people interested as im only looking for 2.

I have a real simple design that i have attached an image of so you have an idea of what im thinking. The front is 12" wide (not counting mounting tabs) by 5" high and 13" deep. The tabs at 1.25x1.25 inches and the rear ones are .25" lower than the bottom.

Would like it to be lockable and water tight if possible. I would build them myself but lack the time currently. worst case scenario they may have to wait.

I see Bestop drawers on eBay for $50. Maybe one of those is big enough? It just seems a lot easier to make a couple of mounting brackets than to fab a drawer, slides, lock and case.
 
Sure would be! Didn't know besttop made drawers none of there stuff came up in any of my searches. I'll check them out thanks
