On a 91 k5 what is the black box next to the master cylinder for is that like a early version of abs? Going to pick up my new k5 tomorrow and it has that on there just wondering what it is cause my 89 k5 doesn't have it thanks

it is RWAL which is rear wheel anti lock brakes

thats what i was thinking is that going to mess with anything when i swap in my 14 bolt rear with disk or should i just remove it?

i don't know if it will mess with the swap i think some other people have experience with it. I have driven a few trucks with RWAL and you would never know that it had any ABS. I dosen't use any wheel speed sensors so it might actually work with the swap
