I went all the way with my louvers. I think @AgDieseler is where I saw them first.

Unfortunately I didn't really get a before and after comparison. I do enjoy seeing the heat waves coming out of them so they must be doing something. Only thing I don't like is the water getting in the engine bay when it rains or snow melts. I made magnet sheet pieces to cover them when it's parked and I clear the snow off before it starts melting. So far I haven't had anything get damaged but we also live in a relatively arid climate.
I got lucky and got a discounted "scratch & dent" set. I noticed they don't even list a white version on the site now.they sure are proud of those louvers @ $329/$359

I think this is what I'll do
What would it cost a guy for some of those big magnetic sheets from a certain someone? If one were to do said hood louvers?I went all the way with my louvers. I think @AgDieseler is where I saw them first.

That’s cool, I’ve always thought about doing lovers but the thought of sitting in the driveway in the rain always made me not want to.$40 to $50
park grill up hill and the rain will drain out the cowl. That is if all the leaves and dirt are cleaned out.I worry the most about snow because it can sit there and just slowly melt off. Our rain usually lasts a lot less than 30 minutes.
I think louvers are a good addition for slow crawling trail rigs. Most normal driving you're getting a good bit of air flow, but slow trail crawling is not going to allow for natural air flow.
