I surf the web going too alot of car sites. I just can believe how many people think thier Front Wheel Drive 4cly and 6cly cars are fast. It just amazes me that they think 16 secs in the 1/4 is fast.

Fast is a relative term, like so many used in automotive hobbies. Kinda like "big tires" If your buddies are running 18s, you are fast running a 16. I used to hang with a bunch of import guys. I would hear them talking and the always used a disclaimer like "I'm fast for a 4 cylinder" or "for a NA car". I would roll up in my 71 Duster on drag radials with the cutouts open lumping with a .533 cam and they would just shake their heads. They knew. You can't compare apples to grapes.
