1991 K5. Bone stock with 200k miles. Going over the underside I noticed the rear most Ujoint is a little loose in the yoke. Yes the straps are tight. I'm not getting any noise or vibration or noise.

The joints have grease fittings so they were changed at some point.

Does anyone think the saddle on the yoke could be worn? I'm leaning more towards either wrong joint or worn straps.

Thoughts?

Yes, it could have the wrong joint in it. There were 2 or 3 sizes depending on exactly what year and what drivetrain you have. Could be a 1310, 1330, 1350, or S44 joint. Probably a 1310 or S44 if its really stock, but who knows after 25 years. The differences between the right and the wrong joint can be 1/16" in cap diameter.
Yes, it also could have a bent up saddle or straps. Hard to say without looking at it and measuring. Best bet is to take things apart and do a good inspection of everything. Measure the diameters of the caps (preferable with a caliper) and the size of the saddles. Look up a size chart like this:

and figure out exactly what joint you have, what you should have, and if anything is bent/worn out of shape. IF either the driveshaft or pinion ears are bent to the point the u joint isnt correct seated, they will have to be replaced.
