unknown holley carb

hi all,

a friend of mine has a holley carb but he doesnt know much about it.. he says that it has the following numbers on it

E7Pe-Ba
list-5o4o4
o47o

thats how he wrote it.. any idea's?

try looking here. I think the numbers you posted may be incorrect.

Motorcraft carb!..

The "E7PE-BA" is the Motorcraft # for that carb,made by Holley possibly..I dont have my carb books handy,but I can look up the number later and post back..one book I have lists an interchange from Motorcraft numbers to the equvilant Holley numbers...

The first part , the "E7PE" is the prefix , which reads as 1987/motorcraft/engine engineering . The second part could be a date code , but it doesn't quite look like one .

Maybe a "new" at the time replacement or something , very few Fords had a carb in 87 .
