Old thread, but here's a few pics. I don't know if they were for training purposes, but I saw a bunch of them being sold by GL with big round holes in the roof, so I dug and found these!-lol I've heard some guys say that there were some CUCV gun trucks, but from what most people say they were not common, and definitely probably only used in limited capacity or last resort-type situations. They look badass whatever they were for!

there's a gent on here that scored very well built 10 bolts from some guy that bought GS "terrorist training" trucks. chromo shafts, lockers and i think 4.10's. can't for the life of me remember who, and it wasn't too long ago either.

That would be me!! LOL Yeah the guy i go them from said he aquired them from ft. irwin and they were being used in training as OPFOR vehicles and were on blazers that had lift kits and larger tires. It still had the procomp raised steering arms and bigger steering stabilizer on it when i bought it.
They came with lockers both front and rear and chromo axle shafts. The main reason i wanted them was because of the gear ratio and his price was good. When i told him i'll take them and we cracked them open i was saying to myself "jackpot!". Whatever they were doing out there they spared no expense on parts. I'll dig up a pic of the lockers when i get home.

Those guys look like some type of SF. Those are the guys who generally DGAF what they go outside the wire in and just wanna FSU.
