well did some wheelin this labor day weekend with some buddies. I was driving my blazer, my buddy jay in his 1 ton willies, and Erving in the black 1 ton chevy pickup.
I first got stuck in this hole, and was easily winched out. I went for it a second time about 4 ft over to the right, well it sucked me right in. this was about 3:00pm on sept 1st. they tried to winch me out numerouse times but nothing.
Then we decided to switch the black trucks position, and he was stuck, so we spent about 2 hours freeing him. by the time we got him out it was starting to get dark, and frustrating,so we decided to leave the truck over night:( wich i was not happy about. I made some phone calls and got a backhoe to come down the next morning. I had no tow points, just the stock rear bumper, so i had to hook up the chain to the rear frame. It took about 30 min of yanking the sh*t out my truck, and it was free:D . The aftermath twisted rear driveshaft, blew the rear tire off the bead, and my frame looks twisted alittle. here are the pics enjoy, truck was out at 12:00pm on sept 2. http://s144.photobucket.com/albums/r198/mudboggink5/ NOW I HAVE TO FIX IT...

That doesn't look like fun :(

Unrelated...I was thinking of getting a soft top similar to the one you have. How do you like it? Any leaks? How's the noise level compared to the hard top?

NJ and mud that brings back some memories, never drive though a large puddle in the Pine Barrens you never know how big the truck was that went before you:D

This is a great pic -

Might as well as got a shovel out and jus buried it the rest of the way. lol. you were almost there. Bahahahahaha!!. Ive been stuck like that b4, it sux in the worst way.

Yeah, just watching the video I could have predicted breakage... :haha:

When a backhoe has that much trouble getting you out, you know you're stuck.

This is the lesson I learned here.

Tow points, tow points, gotta have tow points  !!

ha thats a big ass hole! yeah i feel ya, this weekend i spent 2 hours on a trail at night getting half of my 39.5 bogger back on the rim using wreches as tire irons and inflating it. its a 16.5 rim so no safety bead, luckly starting fuild did the trick. then next day on the same trail, i get an air leak in my fuel system, and its diesel so it look about 4 hours to get it on flat ground and fix it. its not fixed but it did make it back 250miles to home.

Thanks, I figured you guys would enjoy the pics. I am gonna get some front and rear bumpers made, so i have some tow points. I think i will send that pic to four wheeler mag. you still want to come down Mike 84cucv..
