Update front end: which style?

I have decided to update the front end on my 79. I have everything needed for the 82-88 or the 89-91. I just can't decide which I want to go with. So vote for which is your favorite, maybe tell me why you like your choice better than the other style.

My biggest reason for doing it is because I have 4 parts burbs, all with the newer styles. I actually really like the older style and will probably take what is useable from my 79 K5 and put it on the 77 crewcab.

i have an '87 crew cab, and I'm swapping a '76 front clip onto it. Keep the round headlight front end!!

I'm with Ryoken and tRusty. 73-77 or '78, before the headlight bezels also went 'round the turn signals.

Now ya'll are making it difficult! I am going to keep my crewcab with round lights but the K5 fenders, inner fenders, and part of the core support are all either hacked up or have rust. I just can't see trying to hunt down good sheet metal and spending the extra money when I already have everything for the newer styles. At the same time I am also swapping the wiring harness under the dash for a newer version so I can have blade fuses, cruise control, windshield wipers on the column etc. Plus I just think it best to update everything at once. Just can't decide on which headlight style to use.

Ya'll are cheeting. No write in votes on this one. 81-88 or 89-91 styles are the only cadidates. Also I see that several people have voted for the 80-91 style but haven't posted up, come on tell my why you prefer that styel to the older style.

ok well my second favorite is the 85-88 i think with the stacked headlights with painted to match grille stripe.

I Prefer the 83/84. I like the quad headlight setup up, plus on those years the bezels also had the crossbar going through them, looks the best IMO.

Well all you guys that voted for the round headlights won I guess. Cheaters. I am going to stick with the 79 style and just try to find what I need to make it complete.

Myself though, I love the 89-91 baby quads. I don't know why other than perhaps it makes the front clip look pretty modern. Seems head lights are a little less common for them though.
