73 GMC Sierra Grande. 454 originally, now has a running 350, turbo 400,a/c, tilt steering, in dash tach, factory am/fm. Has a good and recent Colo title, plates expired in 2017. $3000.00 or trade for Suburban
I truly believe this has 24k act miles and am going thru documentation/receipts to verify . The only thing not here is the a/c condenser. Was originally a beautiful turquoise blue but is now primer gray. It is unbelievable how good of condition this is in and I can only assume it has been stored indoors until recently.
{EDIT: I have seen some hail damage to the camper portion when the light hits it just right}
The body, tail lights, trim etc is in very good condition and is not your typical 45 year old motorhome. There is some interior wood by the closet/upper bunk that looks like maybe a dog chewed up or?? 159.5" wheelbase. Has what appears to be good tires but they have weather cracks. I picked this up late last night and will have a better idea on condition today but so far it looks good.
This thing deserves to be put back on the road but if not sold within a couple weeks I might have to demo camper {which would be an absolute shame} and then go from there. I will help as best I can to facilitate sale/shipping and have a heavy duty towbar that has been installed and could be used for transport.

What size are the wheels? Looks like the vent was leaking, wood appears to be de-laminating. How long can it be at your place while I reassemble it ?

Wheels are all 16" 1 piece and date coded 5-11-02. Tires are all weather cracked and need replaced before driving or flat towing but hold air and would work for transporting.
I actually plan on towing this to a storage yard tomorrow and really do not have a place where someone could work on it. If the storage yard will not let me store it there due to age and non drivable status I might be able to keep at my work for 2 weeks max but couldn't have others working on it there. I found all kinds of reciepts and the original owners manual for the truck and for the camper. Transmission was rebuilt in 02 and odom showed 22k miles then according to invoice. Even has original deposit slip and final invoice.

More pics. Kinda cool all the original paperwork, copy of the original title etc....Tow bar mounts have been made and tow bar installed. Will post more pics tomorrow.

I've tried bumper tow bar w/o a motor once that didn't end well for the tow bar. I did have success w/o the bumper and bolting a tow bar to frame, w/o a motor

Same here, it seems you need the weight of the engine to help steer the wheels. Hoping it tows ok tomorrow. I will post up pics tomorrow, bumper has been removed, custom brackets bolted to frame, temporary crossmember installed across frame rails and I installed a homemade heavy duty towbar.
The same towbar towed a complete 1 ton 6.2 all hydraulic tow truck from Kansas City, Missouri to Denver and another 1 ton 4x4 from Keenesburg, Colorado to Denver.

More pics.
It has 6'5 headroom in back and 6'9 headroom in front.

So I dropped a decent sml blk in this to make it drivable and the transmission has

No reverse or neutral. I have way more important things to be spending my time/money on but now I'm needing a good/used turbo 400 to get this mobile.
