Updating K5 front Clip to '06 Silverado

Thats sweet i condered the convertion as well but wasnt happy spending $700 plus on it, looks good though.

Why?I know 75 parts arnt easy to find but at least if you need them your not stuck with only one place to get them. That kit looks like a nightmare waiting to happen.

One of the pacificfab guys has a newer front clip on his. They ran UA and KOH with it

Call Perry's direct...Don't bother with a middle man...If you call and talk to them (I talked to the man himself) they will tell you anything and everything you need or want to know about the products...I just bought a set of flared fenders for my 2001 F150 project truck...He don't just build stuff, he R&D's it, and trusts it enough to run on his sons truck...I asked him what was the big difference between his two styles of F150 fenders and he went into detail how he designed the one set (I bought the other style) for his son's truck so they would show off his coilovers and engine cage better as compared to the lower cut fenders that hide alot more (the ones I bought) and recommended that I use the low cuts cause of me running factory suspension...Told me that he and his son cleared 37's with no lift and some t-bar cranking when he was running stock suspension and that I wouldn't have a problem with 35's...I got transferred to a guy to take my order and all my info and I asked him if he had any of the fenders in stock, he said no but if you give me about 1 minute I will call down to the shop and have them start right now and they will be shipped out tuesday morning...Heck he even told me that he could put them on rush and have them shipped monday evening being as I am going back to Iraq on Thursday and I told him that wasn't necessary because I would rather have them take their time and do them right so neither of us would be held up due to a mistake from rushing...

Good guys and they are cheaper than anybody else out there...300 for the set of fenders and 100 for shipping on a Greyhound bus from California to Florida...That is 25 bucks cheaper than comparable fenders before including shipping...

That looks good. The fusing new and old truck thing looked dumb.I can see the reason for using an aftermarket body in this case because it funtions to make access to the frame and components easy.Kinda like an rc car.

that truck is freakin awesome. I would love to have the skill to build something like that one day.

the baja truck example looks sick as helllllllllll..

but id want to see how it looks with full coverage and a top on it before i made a judgement call about how it would look in general. for those of us that also drive our rigs on the street.

They are pretty ugly on a stockish rig, considering the fact that the clips are wider and higher than stock

I think it looks great and its functional. I'm planning on a long travel suspension on my 75 Jimmy so its definitely something to consider.
