ok i am looking for an aftermarket unit... i run this in my 454 buggy and i beat on it HARD... this is the second i have broke... solid mounts on the engine and t-case and they are not bound up... put the crossmember in and all the bolts slide right together... i feel 100% confident that the mounting is not the problem...

on another note, the most recent that i broke i also broke a 10spline coupling shaft at the same time... will that cause it??? i just need a real fix here instead of keeping 1tonmudder in business :D ... all help is appreciated....

Do you have a mount directly to your 205?

I would guess you are breaking them because you're not mounting the things that want to twist (i.e. you would be better off having one mount for the trans and one for the t-case).

Seems like Northwest Fab offers a few aftermarket transmission/t-case adapters (and I think I heard mention of a 465/205 one).

I plan on making my own to clock the t-case flat while still using the figure 8 pattern. I honestly don't see it being too hard, that may be something to think about.

Like stated, NWF offers a billet piece.

both of them broke in front half of the adapter, where it mounts to the trans... looked on there site and saw nothing for 465/205???

i did, no answer.. i sent a pm... thanks...

Try again tomorrow and maybe leave a message with your number. Seems like companies like NWF don't really have anyone answering the phones all the time, its just run by a few people who do the work in the shop too.
