upgrading a 241?

Looking for information on upgrading a 241 transfer case. I am thinking I will replace my 208 with one, SYE kit, and then do the whole larger chain 241HD thing but I want info on this upgrade. Anyone know anything about the larger chain and upgrade?

I do not know a whole lot about the specific's on the upgrades for the 241 but I can tell Ya that the real 241 HD cases have had some major upgrades in the past few years .So don't just assume that all HD cases are the same . I don't think that the larger mainshaft will fit in a case not designed for a PTO provision ( the shaft also has an extra bearing on it for thrust loads ).
If I were you I would look at the internals of a 2001 & 2002 Dodge HD 241 case and see if any of the parts will go into a standard RH output case .
