upgrading alternator...

My stock unit started screaming and throwing sparks and smoke on the way home from a trip and died. I'm thinking of picking up this...

Is there anything I need to know/do before boosting my alt output?

You shoud up the size of the charge wire on the back of the alternator. Other than that all is good.
