Couldn't your buddy grab the truck if he brings a cop with?
I'd still raise a scene. Can you fax the title to your friend and he can go over with a cop to get it. Or overnight the keys to him, if it runs, and take it back with the cops there. If the motherfocking cops wont do anything, take it by force. I think I would walk into the Sheriff station and tell them I'm going over there with my 12g to get it back, video tape the conversation too and head over.

have your friend pose as a buyer, when the seller isn't looking, snip the fuel pump power. Just makes it harder to move around if he doesn't know why.
Frick, if I was that friend, I'd probably do some crazy stake out on the place. I'd call in sick for a week if it meant getting the truck back. Get a couple members from MI to drive down, bring some pissed off angry backup

found the guys number and gave him a call and acted interested in the truck, he said he would let me take it for a test drive later today, so i am flying to where its at, I have the title, new plates and insurance for it with me

Any news yet? I hate the thoughts of having to store something at someone elses place. I've got two 203's and some other random parts sitting at a buddy's barn back home I've got to get ASAP before his Dad sells the place as they never use it since Matt got his own farm.
