I have been looking at USA6X6's website at their Rockwell stuff and found these,

I assume they allow you to use a regular 8 lug wheel, but would they not put the wheels out wider than a stock axle would be.

Has anybody used these, and would I be able to run a set of uncentered H1's.They said their was some welding involved but is there anything else to know about using these. If I go this route I will dump the drums and run pinion brakes.

I saw those on dans site the other day and emailed him about them and he said that the two plates will have to be welded together. Each plate is 3/4" thick. I actually plan on building a template of those for my rocks and taking them to a local company and have them cut out on a CNC machine.

keep in mind that USA 6x6 has a terrible reputation for poor customer service and extremely slow shipping. do a search here or pirate or any 4x4 site and you will find lots of guys that have been burned by them.

those dont look very safe to me.

would it be the same as a wheel spacer (as strong)?

I've talked with both companies regarding building Rocks for me. Pretty serious stuff!

IIRC, the bill for both axles (for me) was around $6500 :eek1:  !

I looked at those also, there is no way I would run those. Not only have I seen normal adapters fail but you bolt it to the outer flange and not the existing studs, not to mention the tons of added stress on the bearing and knuckles. Looks like a joke to me.

He just said it ALL!!!!

That's what I thought also, but I have a habit of being over critical.I was in Florida a couple of years ago and dropped by Chuck's to check thing's out. They must not like dropin's since they were very unfriendly and came across as being total asse's.
