The door panels in my 84 K2500 are worn out. Arm rests split, plastic in general just rubbed down/worn in the elbow area.

Squares dont exist in junk yards in my neck of the woods.... so I stumbled on these from USA. Look pretty decent to me, and they are somewhat of a upgrade over my "High Sierra" trim.

What do you guys think...?

They sure look nice. I’ve only installed the lmc’s and they are ok but you have to cut everything out yourself.

Those look way nice. Only thing I don't like is I like the cloth inserts. Those just are plastic shaped to look like the cloth insert

For me the pulls are a win... especially when you got your doors adjusted as tight as I do... lol

I am very satisfied with my 81+ panels. If you do not have silverado door shells you will need to make something for the pull strap to pull to. Non silverado doors don't have the bracket.

The carpet insert is a little cheesy being laid on top but is sufficiently secured but the handle bucket and armrest. I prefer the carpet myself to the ones in the first post.

If you can stomach the price, you'll like em.

OK , I agree very well written. I thought the panel I posted the inlay was plastic, not material.

My K5 has pulls, can you save me the trouble of pulling it apart to tell me...

Will I have to source some kind of reinforcement bracket?

Can I get away with a simple drill and insert clip for the pulls? Is there enough material there?

Love the blue... that's my factory color but I'll probably go black.

If your door already has pull straps, you'll be good to go.

It does not (K2500 High Sierra trim). I do have a Silverado K5, but hoped you could lead me in the right direction without having to tear down the K5 to see the difference.

At 4:50 You can see the big silver diagonal bracket. I don't believe it is reproduced however a piece of flat strap could be made to work in its place.

Does the rear pull hardware thread into that bracket, and the front into the inner pannel?

They have u-nuts or u-clips for the threads. The bracket and door shell are through holes with the clip attached.

Those sure look like the same base panels LMC sells. Then you add the trim.

USA1 door panels are different. If you see the screw hole at the base of the armrest has now been excluded with the latest moldings. Usa1 manufacturers their own parts for these panels.

Good to know.

Will the USA1 panels color chip like the painted panels? How does the color hold up?
No, the color is in the plastic. No chipping just like the factory door panels.

I have two pair of panels. Both are black plastic and painted.
I carry my pistol on my hip and have rubbed the door panels a few times. Not scratched through but you can see a scuff. I was able to wipe it off and it's barely visible.
