They have a bad reputation for poor quality wookmanship, and taking months apon months. I personally have never delt with them, but I've read more then a few horror stories about them on here and other boards.

Honestly, he was banned from pirate for crappy work/parts as well as poor business practices. He won't come here again. Search for yourself but most of the posts will be locked, deleted, or just heated. Both on pirate and here.

Just my personal experience...but he did take forever to get me my wheels (5 months) but I told him I wasn't in a hurry as the truck wasn't running...so I don't blame him totally for that.
Then finally after the truck did run there was a horrible shaking and we called him and he said the guy he had welding them last year made alot of crooked ones so we measured and they were very eccentric. He offered to pay shipping there and back and new wheels, which he got to us within a month. So while it was a run around...in the end he kept true to his word to me, I just wish it didn't take so long and wasnt such a hassle.

hmmm, no real positive feedback on this guy. the one post that was "positive" was still negeative.
as for Tim and M J being know it alls, i think we should ridicule them some more for actually knowing whats going on. we should all be naive enough to believe that this guy gives good service. this board and pirate are not the only ones i've seen bad things about him on.

Six out of the eight tires I got from him had holes in the sidewalls and he would do nothing about it, nor did he tell me they were millitary rejects when I ordered them. I would never deal with him nor recommend him to be dealt with. I lost a lot of money on that sour deal. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
