Found a guy locally that has a set of boggers 38.5x15 w/ 95% tread that only wants $650 for them. I'd planned on waiting til tax refund and buy some 39 Iroks to have as off-road set, but kinda hard to turn down the deal.
Should I buy the boggers and run them or wait and buy some Iroks?

Boggers are in great shape, were only on this guys mall crawler until he found out they were kinda loud and road like crap on street (don't know why they wouldn't run smooth and be quiet:haha:)

If they are gonna be an offroad set. Why is this even posted. Boggers handsdown

Well, I've never run either but I'm gonna be driving my truck, not trailered, to trails so some road manners were in consideration. Just thought Iroks would be a little better all around, but might just buy em, try em, and sell em if not what I like

boggys hands down man.
i dont know what it is but i have a thing for boggers.

BTW i like your avatar Duntz00:haha::bow:

:wink1: thanks man, i think your blazer would look sweet with the boggers on it. If I would have had the money when I bought my new tires I would have had boggers but I settled for tsl's.

Yeah they're wicked but I just keep thinking about 6hr+ drive to Tellico with Boggers:doah:

But hell, who needs to hear the radio:haha:

What do you wheel, Mud, rocks or trail? My opinion is iroks are best for everything but mud but wear out quick so I wouldn't run them on the street at all. Ever think of TSL's, LTB's or SX's? I'm really happy with my non groved TSL's for wet dirt and rock trails.

well I wanna do trails but where I live we have no hills:D and it'll probably mainly be mud. I used to run 36x12.50 TSL and were great in the mud. I just heard that Iroks were great all around, but I didn't know they're weren't that great in the mud:confused:? The SX are actually what I was considering too, but I haven't been giving it that much thought of late since I just got my K5 rolling again and I wasn't planning on buying another set of tires until spring. One of the main reasons I wanna go ahead and get another set of tires is to put them on a different set of wheels because my current 15x12 with 2.75 bs stick out way too damn far and though they may look kinda cool, I want a set (15x10 w/4in bs) that'll stuff better in the fender wells so I don't have to completely hack my fenders. Also I wouldn't mind a beadlocked set, but then that cancels out me being able to drive them on the street unless I go Staun and the price for those is fairly expensive so I'm just trying to weigh my options and spend my money wisely

for that price i would def buy the iroks.the boggers are 700 dollars appiece.you can get the set of 4 iroks 4 650.i would go iroks but im a broke bastard so i only buy what i can afford.it would take me 10 years to get the 2800 for a set of boggers.that is a great price for those tires.they should do alright in mud.

Go boggers!!!!! you wont be disappointed. As fir that 6 hour ride, the sound of boggers on asphault is music to my ears  and iroks suck in the mud i have seen them perform and not do well so............

I actually have no idea how Iroks are in the mud. I've seen them on trails (dirt/ rock) and they are probably the best I've seen. I'm not really in a mud area so I really don't know but your probably on the right track with Boggers.

Huh, did not figure that. Glad I asked now. Looks like I'm going Bogger:D
