what is a good used top worth.

both hard and soft.

I found a soft top and i wanna sell my hard top.

Have no idea what either of them should sell for.

BTW.....i did a search on here b4 i wrote this thread ;)

Soft tops for for around 100 - 300 (used in my experience)

hard tops - I've seen from free to 1,000 - depending on the top.

For your top - no offense, but I'd ask $150 - and be happy to get $100 - you should keep it and make it into a half cab instead of selling it

Even a halfway decent hard top will get you $700 in Cali. Depending on condition, I might even be interested.

Find me a nice rag top like the one on your rig ;) and we'll trade.

It may look nice, but it leaks water. Might not be as nice up there in rain country. ;)
:haha: then it would be an even trade. This hard top leaks like crazy too.

I have fresh running water inside when it rains.

Ah, then I already have a hard top like that. :) I'm working on it though.

this one just leak through the seals, which btw are all brand new. I cant seem to figure out how to plug the leaks. When i do get a leak sealed off, it just makes a new one or makes an old one a bigger one.

I got pretty frustrated with it.

Is your hard top a single or double wall? From what I've seen single walls usually go for $150-300 in decent condition, double wall tops anywhere from free to $200.

I say keep the top and just buy the soft top. Your truck is worth more with the hard top (if you ever decide to sell it).

mines a single.

I think im gonna sell the hatch to a guy, and make a 1/2 cab out of the leftovers.

That's a good idea!

Hey, I just saw your rig in "Off-road Adventures," the 4-wheel parts magazine. You got "best looking rig of the month". Congrats!

it was in okay shape. one of the levers on the rear hatch broke clean off so there was a hole in it. paint was a bit chipped. glass was perfect. the bottom that mates with the fenders was the worst part of the top. i was suprised to sell it for that much myself...but i did deliver it 350 miles.

I just remembered that Dana (bad4x4 on the other board) is looking for a singlewall top in Oregon. He's in Bend. He's the guy that bought my rig off the original owner.
