i have huge 11 leaf spring packs coupled with a 4" block for my rear suspension (smoooooth ride)...:doah:

anyways would like to eleviate all that nonsense and just get full springs (not interested in moving mounts or anything with shackles..)

this guy has 6" front lift springs for a 73-87 full size chevy, any way they would work in my rear end?

i have 8" front leafs now.
sorry for probably stupid question

probably too short. if i remember right the fronts are like a 48" spring as opposed to the 52" spring thats on there.

The front springs also have less arch to them for a given amount of lift, so even if they did fit in the rear (they don't, they are 47" eye to eye vs 52 or 56") you would end up with 4-5" less height than the springs are advertised for (6" fronts would only be 1-2" rear.) I know you are looking for a cheap alternative, but this isn't it.

$500 would get you a custom built rear set shipped to your door from Alcan. Cant get a much better ride than those unless you go coil over:waytogo:
