V30 bolt in headers

Morning fellas, can anyone point me to some options for bolt in headers for my 88 v30 4x4 crew w the stock crossover pipe, bb tbi 454.. Sorry if this is redundant, I did a couple quick key word searches, didn't turn up specifics... Thanks!

I run one on my SBC Burban an am pretty happy. Wish I had gone with the ceramic coating, the durability of the ti-tech coating is dissapointing.
Very clean install, no rubbing, rattles, or leaks.

The issue is that NONE of the headers out there hookup to the stock crossover/y pipe.

After lots of reading on here, and listening to the conflicts people had wiht "custom" fit long tube headers, i decided to run some Shorty style. Often times, the long tubes conflict with the rear shackle of the front spring on 4x4 trucks, and i didn't want to deal with that possible conflict. Scott (4x4high) recommended them, and he is running a HOT 350, so i figured they would flow more than enough for my stock motor.

I ran the Flowtech shorties that are made for a 92+ style truck. Scott had to modify his frame, instead i cut the bung off the headers so it wouldnt' hit the frame.

Either way, happy with the end result. Make SURE to order the appropriate REMFLEX gaskets. The gaskets they sent with the headers blew out in less than 1000miles. It cost me about $250 to have a custom y pipe made to hook these up.

I tried to avoid getting a new y pipe made, but its just part of the game with headers.

The Edelbrock TES includes the Y pipe. Replaces everything from the cat forward.

Thanx Dhcomp, we are comparing apples to apples right? Stock BBC?

LMC truck shows a set of shorties w air injection that are claimed as bolt in... Just wanted to scope out more info if any really existed.. Thanx

Pretty sure "bolt in" doesnt' hook to your y pipe, id check.


And my mistake, i was looking at SBC. BBC, im not that helpful

uh...my mistake too, those headers in LMC are for SBC... son-of-a!
