V8 400 c. in. common, or even exist in K5's?

I had a blazer stock with a 203 before I used it as a daily driver, and one day the chain broke, wedged up between the gear and the case and BOOM, it exploded the case.
I went and got a 205 and put it in and wheeled it and drove it to work for 6 years, no problems ever.
I ended up parting it after the 6 years.
Now I have a chalet and it has the 203 and I was going to change it but now I just want to sell it.
As for compromising the value of your truck, the 205 doesn't change that, it actually adds to the value.

The chain breaking and blowing up is my biggest fear, and the NP205 I figured would add to it, is there any chance I can take a look at it?

I have seen quite a few blazers with the 400 sbc but havent seen one that didnt have a Th350/203. is the TH 400 really rare in 1/2 tons and blazers? Ive never seen one that wasnt in a 3/4 ton.

TH400's did not come in Blazers (or any 1/2 ton) from the factory ... except the M1009 CUCV's, which the Army ordered special, presumably because the rest of the CUCV family, being 1-tons, had TH400's and they wanted all the trucks to use the same parts.

I beg to disagree on that one, I had the option card in my hand and saw the specs for stock options as stated in my post above.
You could order the th400 with any engine too so it still would be stock.

Huh. If you were anybody else I'd argue ... but you've owned more 73-87's than I've ever seen on the road =))

Anyway, at the very least they're awful rare. :deal:

If you have the time now, I am going where I have all my parts at in my old house in Sac.
Either you could meet me there or I could bring it to Lincoln and you can come tonight or tomorrow night, I am expecting someone tomorrow to check out my jeep anyway.

I can't make it down to Sacramento today :(, but tomorrow probably would work better. If you want I can shoot you my email and send pictures if that makes it easier for you at all? But tomorrow would be better.

PM sent with email

So you can send PM's to me, but I can't send to you?
I was trying to send a PM and it didn't give me that option??
I figured since you are not a member PM's were not an option.

No PM yet...

Try now, I'll try to send again. Looks like I sent you a message to whatever email is linked to your CK5 forum membership, so if it's not in a PM it should be in your email inbox I assume.
