V8 engine mounts for S10

Three questions....

Who are the different manufacturers who sell engine mounts to put a 350 in a '94 S10?

Who should I use/who should I avoid, and why?

Can I get some first hand experience from some folks who have done V8's into round-body S10s, and their impression, and the mounts they used?


(Yes, yes, yes....I know IF the S10 came with a 4.3, a 350 would drop right in. This is an 2.2, 2wd I'm working with.)

if you have a 4.3 to start with the mounts are the same, if you have a 4 cylinder you have to change it over to the v6 style

check out advanced adapters, jagsthatrun and summit for the mounts. but yes you will have to switch the chassis mounts over to the v6 style 1st.

mines being done in an 83 2wd that it'll be 4x4 when i'm done with it.
