Have you ever looked at what the timing was with that stupid brown wire not disconnected?

My brother-in-law did and it was way off the timing tab at idle. Goes back to the long post Beast388 made, at idle the engine wants more advance and on the TBI that's what the computer does.

That's why my carb'd motor is hooked to manifold vacuum.
