I picked up a vacuum guage from a C60 Heavy duty truck. The guages look just like the K5's. I intend to put this in the lower left guage socket that is currently blanked out. Anyone else done this before? Where should I tap into for the vacuum or does it not matter?

Is it a vacuum gauge, I don't remember seeing those.

Here is my hybrid cluster. Tach and fuel gauge and pressure gauge plus the housing are all from the C-60, rest of the gauges are from the original cluster in my dually. I will lose the brake light, and the 4wd indicator light.

The rest of it plugs right in

Yeah, I have seen the vacuum gauges before. Never bothered to see what they are hooked up to though. I would imagine they are mechanical, and that any vacuum source would work.

That vacuum gauge is going to be pretty useless since our engines only see 17-21 hg of vacuum. :deal:

Considering an absolute vacuum is 30 inches/Hg I doubt a vacuum gauge exists that reads to 150.

second guy said its a pressure gauge he used ....... 2 needles 1 for pump pressure and second for tank pressure.

That is an air pressure gauge from a C60 with air brakes. I am assuming that Blazinzuk is going to use it to monitor on board air, but I could be wrong.

That cluster is going in my dually, future plans for it include replacing the leaf springs with links and airbags, so the dual air guage is perfect for my use

I have a cluster from a 1980 commercial truck and it has the 1-15-30 vacuum gauge, 0-80 psi oil pressure, 100-250 water temp and D-C amp gauge. The vacuum gauge is mechanical and I would run a hardline to the intake manifold.
