Folks, I need to verify current Ford numbers for the earlier 80's model and the new superduty cast iron. I've searched and read, and here's what I have:

E5TZ-18183-A ~$14.32 OLD F250
F81Z-18183-A ~$33.54 NEW SUPERDUTY

The E5TZ-18183-A number for the 80's F250 is correct. I ordered those for $8.95 and they were exactly what I was expecting.

Nice price, where from?

Does anyone have a picture of the E5TZ-18183-A ? I think it might be what I'm looking for...but I'm not sure. I have bilstein 5150's for the front and want to make sure these will work with that part number. Anybody have any input?

Just got mine a couple weeks back. These are E5TZ-18183-A towers.

Well, I just order a pair from a friend at the Ford dealership. $8 a piece. I'll let y'all know if they work out with 5150's. Does anyone have a measurement of eye to eye (I have roughly 4" of lift)? I'm going to try and mount them as straight up an down as possible with an eye to eye of 25" so I will have 4.63" up travel and 9.9" down travel.

Eye to eye, as in the ford eye mounts to the axle eye mounts?

I don't have a number, but you can adjust that by mounting it how you want to.

Not sure if you have seen this, it may help some. :dunno:

No pics, but yes they fit just fine. The housing has plenty of room inside the shock mount and the remote resevoir sticks out perpendicular to the frame. The 5150's have a jam nut on the top so you can rotate the housing in the direction you want.

I got it all mounted up. I had to cut some of the f250 tower off, but it ended up working perfect. I'll try and get some pics to post up later.
