Value of a 73 K5?

I have a buddy at work that is looking to sell his 73 K5. It is all stock and runs good. Small amount of rust around rear wheel wells and the back seat needs recovered.

What's a decent 73 go for?

I picked up my 75 for 1200- stock- but the motor was very tired, interior was shot, and a bunch of driveline stuff needed attention.

It's full convertible and goes for more than the 75+ trucks with the 3/4 top. If it's in decent shape with some rust, guaranteed there is more hidden, I'd say in the 2-3 grand range. If the rest of the interior is good even better. All depends on the seller and what the buyer is willing to deal for.

I paid $2700 for mine with a 383 and it was lifted with boggers and wheels. Body is in excelent shape and had minor or almost zero rust. Was a cali K5.

It covers up 3/4 of the bed up to the front seats. I always called it that because of This.

You got a great deal On that one then. I'd say that one would go More like 5grand plus from what I've seen.
