Value of a truck question

there is one FS in town if you want to compare it to. its identical except its a 74. it had a frame off resto in 1990 and the paint is still in good shape, rust free. there asking $5000. its been siting for about a month now.
the question of what its worth is always tough, and depends if that truck is what your acutally looking for. i think the 74 here in town is still for sale becasue nobody is in the market for a 30 year old pickup. i think the price is fair.

It's a really clean truck,nice interior, they said they brought it back from kali. so probably never has had rust.

I wouudl say in the neighbor hood of $5000-$6000. It looks real straight and the paint looks good, I say go for it. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I paid 4500 for mine, but its 4wd and newer with a 6.2 and turbo, so maybe 3500-4000 would be my guess.

did it actually sell for 7? or just had that on the windshield. car lots are a rip off and always have prices twice what they are worth.

Looks good, Kert. No idea on value. Haven't paid that much attention to 2wds lately. Where is he located. Just general area. I think I remembered seeing one like that just West of Estherville this past yr.

He's in the spencer Iowa area. I think I'm gona pass on it. Stomper might go ahead and go after it. I wish it were already deisel and or already 4 wheel drive. I hate to have to fix both these deficienies.
