What's the going rate for a front 10 bolt with Detroit locker and and rear 14 bolt with Detroit locker? Both are in running condition.

$400 for the set

is the rear a full floater?
a locked 10bolt is not a desireable item, hence the mediocre selling price
im guessing matching ratio's

Yup, complete junk. Just remove the gears and lockers, box em up and ship em to me. I'll throw them out for ya. I'll even pay for the shipping. :D

In all seriousness, more info needed on the axles. 6/8 lug, gear ratios, 14b semi or full float, complete with brakes and are the brakes in good operating condition, all good ball joints and seals, etc...

Not all of us are looking for a D60/14bff cause we are only running 33-35" tires and running mild to moderate trails. I'm in the process of rehabbing a front 10b and rear 14bsf that I got for free, but they needed all new b/js, seals, axle shaft u-joints, brakes, everything. Prob spent 180-200 on the front and will prob have 150-180 into the rear by the time it's done (those brake rotors/drums are pricey). So, if those axles need any kind of work, this should be taken into consideration. And a perspective buyer would assume they will need some kind of work to keep the purchase price down.

Realistically, if they were perfect, complete with brakes, ready to go with 4:10 or 4:56 gears and locked, I'd guess 4-500 for the pair.

Well here's the catch the front is a 6 lug and the rear is a 8 lug. The front has the Detroit EZ locker and the rear has full time Detroit locker. Both axles have 4:10 gears which is what I am currently running so that's a plus. Not sure on the brakes. I will probably rebuild them anyways so no big deal. How hard is it to make the front an 8 lug or can it be done? The rear is also a full float.

I havent found a 14 bolt for under $800. even on here, especialy with a detroit. everyone has told me their cheap. but i havent found it yet.:dunno:

Still a decent find for the right price. The 10b can be changed to 8 lug you basically need everything from the knuckles out. But here's where it gets tricky, cause now the front axle you're looking to buy the b/js and brakes have basically no concern for you except maybe to resell them. Cause you will now need to find 8 lug outer stuff either from the junkyard or another complete axle or whatever and those parts may need new b/js or brakes and seals or whatever. Look at what that locker would cost new (350 approx) and judge for yourself what you would pay for it used. I'd say 150-200 for that front axle would still be a decent buy considering it comes with the gear ratio and locker you are looking for already set up in the axle.

Well I bought them for $350 for the pair. I though it was a pretty god deal. But I'm still a noob at this so I tend to F up a lot. Hence all of the questions.

350 for the pair is not a bad deal at all. You could pull the lockers and make back more than that.

That 10 bolt locker will work in front or rear just so you know.

Only difference is that 89 and later had a different spline count
