Nebraska looking for D60's
I recently found two super low milege K30's :D . I want to buy one and {really don't need it} I was wondering what they are worth.Never seen ones like these before.

#1 is an 83' K30 454/400/205 SRW,nice,11,800 Origonal Documented miles :D .
#2 is a 74' K30 454/465/203, DRW,mint, 24,000 origonal miles :D .

Both were Fire/Rescue trucks

Any ideas?

hmm, I dont think the 74 k30 will have a dana 60 up front, I believe the d60 front axles were first available in 78. Someone correct me if Im wrong, but I am pretty sure thats correct. I also wouldnt be too enthusiastic about a drw front dana 44........maybe its just me, but I would shoot for that 83 srw k30. All the heavy duty hardware your looking for all in a low mileage package.

Remington

I know all about those early ones  {pre-D60/1977'}. We have a 74' CC 4x4 dually already. It's got the big hub D44 with some POS dually spacers that use lug bolts instead of nuts. Just mainly curious on the 74'.

IMO, low mileage doesn't mean very much on a vehicle that old. Time, maintanence, and environment play a much bigger role in the condition of the vehicle. What are they asking?

Probably shinier than Christmas tree ornaments. I'll bet they were parked indoors, have original paint, etc. Those trucks would be good for restoration. wish they were closer. :doah:

I'm sure they are both perfect. Those vehicles are parked inside and very well maintained. The 74' has $6500 on it and the 83' has $7000 on it. The 83' has a walk in rescue box on the back that the guy may sell seperately so that truck may be a really good buy cause I'd guess the box would take $1500+ off the truck. The 74' is a Fire truck with tank and pumps on it for fighting fire.
BTW The 83' is in MO and the 74' is in CO. Not sure I'll buy either so if i don't I can post up phone #'s

go with the drw, buy it, without the box and you'll have a beautiful truck sans bed...

The 83' just got a lot better looking. The seller will seperate the bed and the bed is a $5000 bed new and it's like new so hopefully he'll take $3000 off :D . I'm hoping.

Are these listed on a website? Or you got info how?

I bought this '88 V30 "forcible-entry fire/rescue" truck for $2,000, and then sold the utility box for $2,000 . . . so the truck was basically FREE!:D
