ok..this mught b a dumb question:
why do circle track car's valve covers have two breather tubes only on one side?

any problems running it on a stock motor or a motor thats alittle built? what bout crankcase gas building up in the one without a breather hole? and will the extra height on the covers create less oil getting to the internals(rockers springs and such)

reason why i ask..i like the color of most of them on ebay. they match the moroso zinc coved pans.

I see you're in CA. Unless the vehicle the engine is in will be smog-exempt, you'll fail smog as soon as the inspector pops the hood. Open breathers are an emissions no-no...

You wont have prob.s re. the breather's on one side or with the oiling but Jarhead makes a good point about emissions. If your point is matching moroso zinc I think if you dig deeper in performance catalogs you can find some w/out being circle track style. I'll try and remember and check my library this eve. I'll post part #'s and manufactures if I find some.

erg the ones i'd want..from summit's... MOR-68366 ($113) ...tall with stock locations. or i could just buy good ole cheapies from ebay.. tall more box-like(sharper corners), circle track for like 25 bucks

but on the other hand you get what u pay for.
