I'm having open heart surgery Monday Morning and it sure would be nice if you guys could get some stuff done and write it up with picts so I had decent reading next week... here's what the parts guy is recommending.

Holy cow Bear! Hope everything goes well. Is it just a valve replacement? Nothing more serious?

Be sure to ask him about installing oversize valves, especially on the intake side.....

Might As Well get a little extra performance work done while the doc is in there.

As we all know, there's a lot that can also be accomplished by opening up the exhaust side of things, but I'm not suggesting you ask for anything extra down there.

Good Luck! :waytogo:

Good luck and a speedy recovery to ya.

I was just getting ready to update my build thread. It sure has been a real pain lately. It's almost ready for paint!!!!

Is that a stainless steel valve? They throwin in some titanium retainers too? If that heart is going to see some high BPM's you might want some stiffer springs too.

Like I said let me know if your needing anything, I may have to come up there And work on the jimmy while your recovering, Talk about someone needing to update the threads:deal:

You really need to give that thing some tlc, first the crappy tires, then the crack under your fender and now a valve job? Sheesh:haha:

Checked in early

Being home with conjested heart failure sucks! Without a good valve in place the whole system falls apart and breathing and clearing liquids becomes a big deal.

we might bump it up and do surgery today. I'll keep everybody posted thanks for the well wishes! It's been a long strange week.

Whether surgery is today or Monday I will ask my family to keep you in their thoughts and I will do the same!

Wow man, hope you're better soon. I had no idea wooden bowls took so much out of a person... :)

Just got an update from his wife, he is out of surgery and doing well. She has to wait another hour before they will let her in to see him.
