So I have these ripper rock rings welded to my H1 wheels. The stock valve stems are too long and prevent access to fill with air. I have some 45* fittings but those present the same issue. I called Andy at Trailworthy Fab where I bout the wheels and he said to drill a 5/8" hole in the wheel where the valve stems goes through and to get a bolt in valve stem. I stopped at a local tire shop yesterday and picked up an angled valve stem but if I drilled a 5/8" hole the valve stem would be too small..of course the drilled hole could not be smaller due to the recangular shape of the factory hole.
Does anyone know of a 5/8" valve stem that would work?
