O'Reilly's is offering a $20 rebate on the $22.99 Valvoline NextGen Oil Change with filter. You guys have any feedback on this particular oil? It's some sort of reclaimed oil. Also, I've always run straight SAE30 in my 350. Is 10W-40 close enough to not cause any problems. Thanks guys.

JMO....but I have no experience with that particular oil, but I like Valv brands in general. I think 10w40 would be fine in warmer/hot weather, but I wouldn't run straight 30 in a automotive engine. To many variables for that engine to work under, and much better oils available. Make sure it meets the API spec for your engine requirements also. Just be sure to get a quality oil filter too! Napa gold or similar...search around there was a recent test done on oil filters.
