1/2 ton status
What years did the vans have 14 bolts? Are they in 3/4 ton and 1 ton? Are the perches the same as the 3/4 ton and 1 ton truck axles--1 ton being farther in than the 3/4 ton?Anyone selling one?

Im not sure on all the years or models available, but i used an 14 FF from a `76 1 ton van, in my 73 k5. the shock mounts and spring pads both had to be relocated. The axle i used had spring mounts that were wider than mine. But so was the axle so it was worth it to me.

Yes a 14 off a van will work better then a one ton. The axil is the right lenght, but you will have relocate some stuff. I know a quy that is doing this.
