greetings,

any body installed a GM van fuel tanks under the bed of a short-bed pickup?
and what is the width between frame rails of a 1980s K10?

I know blazer/suburban fuel tanks swap is popular
but in my area I didn't find any 25 gallon or 31 gallon Blazer/Suburban tank for EFI applications because blazers are very rare and all burbs I've seen have the 43 gallon tank

for comparison
blazer 31g tank is 28-3/4" x 28-1/8" x 12-3/4"
van 22g tank is 31" x 22" x 12-3/8"
van 33g tank is 31" x 31" x 12-1/4"

thanks

i have 3 van 40 gal tanks. wont fit inbetween rails . unless you cut off some of the inner lips of the rails.

go 31 gal blazer or 40 gal burban tank . same frame rail width.

Not sure what shipping would cost, but the EFI K5 tanks and senders aren't TOO ridiculously priced anymore, even new.

Can I use the suburban 40g tank on a k10 short bed truck?
There are a lot of suburbans here

Exactly, and I will be putting the one I have in a lb Truck that way.
Mine came from a diesel van and is 45 gal
:D

What is the year and model of the van?

It was an 82
The diesels got the bigger tanks.
And the amount of the frame that needs to be removed is not too much and it's behind the suspension.
