The first picture is for my current project. I need to make some changes to the VE tables. The new engine has better breathing heads (large oval ports early 70's) and the exhaust is duals w/o catalytic converters. The cam is stock for early 1970's 454. The air pump and egr have been removed. I included a screen shot from Tuner Cats and TurnerPro. Thoughts / Suggestions? Data Logging ideas?

Did you figure anything out on this? Basically you know VE has changed, and you want to have the tables accurately track airflow, right?

I have not figured anything out yet. I am considering upgrading to a newer ECM that allows me to use DataMaster software. I've posted a screen shot of a Histogram using DataMaster Software (E6 definition file for a 1993 GMC) the ECM I'm thinking about upgrading to. The Histogram show which fuel cell is rich / lean and by how much, which allows me to caculate the change to the fuel cells.

I can certainly see where a graph like that could help!

I never really got into the more advanced tuning tools (ostrich and so on) but I know there is something out there, and it may be not much more than an excel formula, that does basically what your graph shows.

IIRC it was for MAP setups (I'm MAF) so that's why I didn't pay a lot of attention to it.

Wish I could remember the name, but I saw it over in the tuning section of thirdgen.
