Vehicle Mounted Air Compressor

Would be awsome, but have you checked the price on that setup. If i remember it was pretty pricey

I remember looking at that when I started my OBA. I ended up with a york from the bone yard - Spent about $100 for the whole project and it works great.

do a search for oasis also supposedly can run 1/2 inch impact tankless, will have one on next wrecker. I got one of their cards at work from Baltimore Tow Expo. will try to post more tomorrow if needed

I have a viaar 400 with a 5 gallon tank and it works great. It also runs my arb's. Think it was about $400.

Sorry my 20 month old cranky/sick son was in my lap earlier. We also run a little 12 volt tanked compressor in one of our flatbed and the same thing in one of our wreckers it's available from www.awdirect.com our main tow supplier along wiht other places. Lots of good recovery gear on that site also. From what the owner of our tow company says AW's liability insurance covers our butts if something we buy from them fails. COmpressors we have are :

we regularly use these for tire changes though sometimes on one that wasn't torqued just hammered down with an impact you have to let the compressor recover to break em loose( or take a hammer to the socket while going all out on the impact)
